Chelsea Long Sleeve Jersey Was Released-Their 1960s-inspired Home Kit for The 2021-22 Season.

Chelsea Long Sleeve Jersey was launched at Gogoalshop. Chelsea’s, the Blues showed off their new home strip with a psychedelic video featuring stars such as Callum Hudson-Odoi dancing to The Zombies hit Time Of The Season.

The Chelsea Long Sleeve shirt has a brighter, more vibrant blue with hints of yellow cutting through in the side-tape and swoosh. ‘CFC’ in yellow is knitted into the back neck. 

Two-thirds of the 'Lyon blue' shirt is covered in zig-zags, while the left-most third of the V-neck top boasts a chequerboard design.

The Nike swoosh and club crest trim of Chelsea blue zig-zag jersey have both seen their traditional white colour-scheme ditched in favour of 'Opti yellow'.

The yellow theme of the Chelsea Long Sleeve shirt continues further down the kit too, with chunky stripes of the luminescent colour etched along the sides.

"Inspired by the 60s, but as fresh as they come," says the official release.

Men's first team players Mason Mount, Hakim Ziyech, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Timo Werner were all featured in the video, while women's team stars Sam Kerr and Penille Harder also featured. The whacky video has a heavy 60s theme, showing Werner getting the shirt out of a washing machine, while Ziyech plays the piano and Kerr steps out of a phonebox.

Mount then busts out the new threads in a backdrop of old televisions and Hudson-Odoi takes to the DJ decks.
